In order to get a friend to start playing EDH with us, I put together a "fun" deck that was "never the same twice." Now, it's the only deck he plays when I am around. (I guess it worked?)

I present to you, Thada Adel, Acquisitor. She likes shiny things and is quick to call dibs on just about anything. Especially Sol Ring. She always wants those. Doubly since there isn't one in this deck :p

As one can tell, the theme is Wizards! Merfolk! Theft! The color Blue basically lol.

This deck has probably caused some of the funniest accidental player and opponent demises I have ever seen.

Example? Redirect Enter the Infinite to the Gruul player. Who has to draw two cards on upkeep thanks to Dictate of Kruphix out from another player.

Another? Fine. Now imagine copying Spelltwine twice after casting it. Let's just say the mono-black graveyard and the already considerable theft filled graveyard for Thada made it GG for everyone else. It was like watching a kid in a candy store.

As you can see, the ENTIRE deck is pretty much draw and steal. Not necessarily in that order, but any combination is what happens about every single turn. To add to the fun and kick the deck up a notch, the steal effects are about the only real win cons in the deck. I mean, why make an answer when you can just take someone else's? Right?

Overall, this deck seriously NEVER does the same thing twice. And when it's on the table, most players happily let her steal the Sol Ring in their decks. She's so awesome, who wouldn't want to put a ring on it? Well, more like, let her steal it THEN wear it lol.

Enjoy!
