The purpose is to get as many large tokens onto the field as you can and repeatedly populate them to overrun the opponents, Ghired is the commander, but the deck can function well without him if you get mana screwed. The combination of Wild bonder and Quartz wood crasher is a good way to win or spam desolation twins.
