One of the last Origins drafts I did about a month ago a week or two before Battle for Zendikar was released (don't let that "FINAL" in the title fool you, I did one or two more Origins drafts afterwards and they were only okay). I'd stopped uploading my mid to later drafts, but I feel this one is worth showing off now that I'm going to be posting BFZ drafts.
Anyway, I'm going to let the deck speak for itself and just stick to the draft.
Started by opening Tragic Arrogance and immediately got passed Sentinel of the Eternal Watch then a War Oracle. White was open. It was very open and VERY abundant. I stuck with White and didn't even have to pick another color until pack #2. Speaking of pack #2, I opened the foil Hangarback Walker in it and from there I was passed a second Sentinel of the Eternal Watch and a Ravaging Blaze so I decided to move into Red and was rewarded for it a few picks later with Hero of Iroas and later in pack #3 when I opened Chandra's Ignition. From there, holy crap, a third-pick Kytheon, Hero of Akros
. I honestly don't know how no one else at the table picked up that White was open and moved into it. If they did, they must have been at the opposite side of the table from me because I certainly didn't notice.

I'm not going to front; this was ALL luck. You don't draft three of the best rares AND a Planeswalker and not have it be luck. Compound that with some of the other best cards at other rarities and I just don't know. While I did lose one game (I got cocky halfway through a later game and kept a hand with two Sentinels and lands, flooded out and couldn't make up the difference later), every match pretty much went my way.
Back when everyone was still figuring out the format, I thought my first WR deck was where it was at. Now I'm not so sure it would perform as well as it did back then. but I'm pretty sure things can't get much better than this.
