FNM on 4/4/2014
First time for this deck at FNM
1st Round: vs. Grixis Control
This was a strange matchup for me. This guy is pretty good with home brews and this deck was no exception. Game One I became overwhelmed when he had 3 Desecration Demon out on the field swinging with lifelink from Whip of Erebos. Game two was a stupid mistake on my part, he equipped
Gift of Orzhova
on Desecration Demon and without thinking, I didn't tap him down and this lifegain gave him an extra turn where he Rakdos Returned me for lethal.

2nd Round: vs. Selesnya Hydras
Both games were absolute blowouts. Every time she cast a hydra it would be killed by Hero's Downfall ( if not first exiled by
Lifebane Zombie
) and I had too much board presence with Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Desecration Demon and she just couldn't keep up.

3rd Round: vs. Esper Control
This round seemed to favor me. The first game I got destroyed because I had to mulligan to 6 with only two lands in hand. I drew no lands the rest of the game and he destroyed me with Blood Baron of Vizkopa. Games two and three were much different though. I sided in my Duresss, Revoke Existences and my [[Sin Collector]s. Both games he mulliganned to 6 and I just picked his hand apart, removing essential cards like Sphinx's Revelation and Blood Baron of Vizkopa. Obzedat, Ghost Council was the star here because he couldn't touch him.

Round 4: vs. Charging Badger Hidden Hydra
Very similar to round two.
Lifebane Zombie
exiled lots of creatures before they hit the field and anything that did manage to hit was hit with removal. Swung in with Desecration Demon and
Lifebane Zombie
for the win both games.
Record 3-1
Overall I think this deck performed very well at its first FNM. I probably could've gone 4-0 had I not played stupidly round one, but I had fun and did well the rest of the night.
