The successor to my first EDH deck: Cat Toys: Best Cat & Kitten Toys, Low Prices.

Gameplay and Strategy:

Built around the interaction between Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second and token generating equipment like Batterbone. Generally, the player wants to use the Jinnie's replacement effect to create a Cat 2/2 G w/ Haste to match with the typal subtheme. Haste is a keyword that forces the opponent to play conservative, proactive magic to defend themselves. This tends to be inefficient.

With Jinnie on the battlefield, the player's threats become more efficient. Batterbone now enters the battlefield as a 3/3 Cat with Haste, Vigilance, and Lifelink. More powerful equipment such as Bitterthorn, Nissa's Animus, Hexplate Wallbreaker, or Kaldra Compleat provide ramp, problematic abilities, or difficult to deal with threats without deviating from the strategy. The cat tokens are then further improved by lords such as Regal Caracal, Keeper of Fables or Feline Sovereign in the midgame.

Touching upon support cards, the list currently has seven ways to protect Jinnie Fay. Given the low converted mana-cost of the commander, it is not important to always have one of these protection spells. However by the time you cast your commander on turn three, the player has a 57% chance of seeing at least one of these cards. Additionally, two of these protection spells - Boros Charm and Your Temple is Under Attack provide alternative modes to prevent them being dead in hand.

If plans go awry, the deck has several backup commanders. Cards Marisi, Breaker of the Coil, Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Elspeth, Sun's Champion have the ability to take over casual games on their own. Following a boardwipe: Balan, Wandering Knight, Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist, and Champion of Lambholt pick up equipment well. Hence, the deck can stay flexible in its strategy throughout the early, middle, and endgame.
