Passive-Aggressive Slivers

Legacy Control GWU (Bant) Sliver Tribal

F1GM3NT

I've loved Slivers since I first discovered them shortly after I was introduced to Magic. A lot of people call them cheap and too easy to use (which is true in most cases), but if you really try, you can do things with Slivers that make people go "What the @#$%?" I wanted a challenge: a sliver deck that doesn't just beat face with beefed up and evasive slivers. I wanted Slivers that should never actually attack. And this is what I came up with after much tweaking (though I know it could use some more). After a game with one of my buddies, he told me how much he hated the deck, not because it was a Sliver deck, but because it was so passive-aggressive, and that's the name I've used for the deck since. The goal is to build up a defense with your slivers using Plated Sliver and Watcher Sliver to beef up their Toughness so later on you can use Psionic Sliver to either ping off threats or do direct damage for lethal without killing off your own Slivers. Or you can slowly mill them out with Screeching Sliver. Telekinetic Sliver is another beautiful addition to control the board by locking down big creatures or other things that require tapping to activate. Harmonic Sliver can also help you get rid of any pesky artifacts or enchantments. And you should be able to draw your answers easy with all the draw spells and Dormant Sliver's second ability. And with Crystalline Sliver to help protect your Slivers against spot removal, you're all set. I know this deck can be improved a lot, especially the mana base. I just don't have the funds for all the dual lands I would love to have for this. But as long as I see a Gemhide Sliver its usually not a problem. This is my first deck I'm sharing on TapppedOut, so I'd love some good feedback and help making this even more annoying to use.
