This is almost an exact copy of Mono-Black Control, but with a twist. I love the mechanic extort and really wanted to run a card which hoses the ever so 'Paupular' Mono-White Tokens deck. In fact this is just a version which runs Tithe Drinker (9/10 Noahs believe this card is "Fun" to play against), the aggro hoser, Journey to Nowhere, the White Oubliette, and blue for Echoeing truths in sideboard and Power Sink .

WARNING: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE PUNCHED IN THE GENITALS, DO NOT PLAY THIS DECK. SERIOUSLY, IT'S NOT WORTH IT

Alright. Now for those who don't care about conceiving a child, here's the deck and why the cards are there.

INSTANTS

Power Sink - This card is one of my favorite counterspells which I feel is way underplayed and underrated in Magic with the low curve in pauper, that means that decks will be running a lot less lands than you would in other formats, effectively countering a spell and their lands you are casting Time Walk, this card is, as the cool kids say, "A Blast to Cast".

Victim of Night - No, not the album, the card. A solid removal spell because almost no Vampires, Werewolves of Zombies see much pauper play.

SORCERY

Unearth - A card which returns almost all of our creatures from the graveyard? I'll take four.

Enchantment

Journey to Nowhere - We're in white now so no need to run the overpriced oublitte. 2 Mana Removal? Our white mana isn't only used on 1 thing?

Pestilence - A pauper wrath which is needed to face against the ever so 'Paupular' Mono-White Tokens. Just plain good and supports Gray Merchant of Asphodel.

CREATURES

For a control deck, we are running a bit of creatures but all of that will become apparent as you read on.

Chittering Rats - A decent block and really screws up the plans of your opponent. Double black is actually a not a drawback due to the lack of basic Plains and Islands in the deck, as you'll learn in a minute, double black is important.

Cuombajj Witches - An excellent blocker, my only problem is that her ability can kill Tithe Drinker, which is solved with Unearth. Double black is what keeps them in the deck.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel - Oh Gary, how were you printed at common? This card makes you take lead, even if you were on the verge of death, topdecking this fella brings you right back in the game.

Phyrexian Rager - Technically, the best topdeck late game. A creature that cantrips is great.

Tithe Drinker - A 2/1 lifelinker for 2 with an ability that's relevant late and early game and stop aggro decks? The definitive reason to be in white.

NON-BASIC LAND

Barren Moor - Are we late game and already have black mana? This card is just good.

Literally Every Dual Land - These make it so that you can reliably cast your black intensive spells.

SIDEBOARD

My sideboard is mostly tuned to play against tokens because of how 'Paupular' the deck is. Your sideboard may be different.

PLAYING THE DECK

Playing the deck is simple, prioritize casting Tithe Drinker, the earlier it's out there the better it is for you, save your Phyrexian Rager s for later so you can be sure the life loss won't be to hard on you, remember, Lightning Bolt is legal. Unless if you know their deck inside and out, don't use your Victim of Nights right away, save it until necessary later on, your gut will tell you. Or the voices in your head.

THAT'S THE DECK, UPVOTES ARE APPRECIATED, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS SUGGESTIONS. WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE AND WHY?
