Just a silly theme deck in the pacifist flavor of white magic. Especially fun in multiplayer format. The goal is to have nobody win or lose the game by pulling out Divine Intervention . The rest of the cards help me not die until I reach that point. I intend not to harm my opponents in any way. Just turn them into my friends....forcefully.

I encourage y'all to against this deck. It's actually surprisingly pretty tough to prevent Divine Intervention from happening, though it takes a while to build up enough mana to ensure that it succeeds. Ideally, you'd need at least 10 mana available for it to work, which is why I added the Fountain of Cho : 8 mana to drop Divine Intervention , and 2 mana to play Orim's Chant or Peace Talks . Players wise to your ways will reserve a Disenchant or Naturalize and play it immediately after you drop the enchantment, in which case, it's a good idea to reserve Rebuff the Wicked (as per ruling on Orim's Chant: "8/1/2008: This can't be used as a counterspell. It will have no effect on spells which were on the stack when it was cast, nor on those cast in response to it.") Also bear in mind that players have priority during their turns, which is why Peace Talks is preferable to Orim's Chant. Most decks will not have repeatable enchantment destruction effects like Tranquil Grove , so a Replenish might suffice against counterspells and Elvish Lyrist when Rebuff the Wicked fails. Truce and Temporary Truce are used mostly for draw ramp, since, as I said before, it takes a while to build up the mana. The other key card is Intervention Pact which will either surprise unsuspecting opponents with tremendous life gain or will encourage players to swing with small damage (granted, it only reverses the damage of a single source).

I wanted to give this deck a solid defensive combo without being a total lockdown douche with something stupidly cheap and broken like Orim's Chant-on-a-stick (i.e. Isochron Scepter), which would be the obvious lame-ass choice here. Instead I went with Crucible of Worlds + Glacial Chasm + Oath of Lieges . The setup filters the deck of Plains (sacrificed to the Chasm) and allows me to circumvent the cumulative upkeep cost, but it still gives my opponents a chance to respond with instants or abilities like Tormod's Crypt. The tutors of course help me get the combo out sooner.
