This deck has turned out a lot better than I had originally anticipated. In fact it's one of the most hated decks among my group of friends. It becomes a soft lock once you get a few pieces into play.
Originally the deck was weak to mass removal so I added Nivmagus Elemental to solve that issue. With a Perplexing Chimera in play you can gain control of the mass removal spell and then exile it with Nivmagus Elemental and buff him up in the process.
Flusterstorm also works great with Nivmagus Elemental as you can eat any additional copies that aren't needed to actually counter your opponents spells. Flusterstorm can even be useful late game even without a Nivmagus Elemental in play. You can use Perplexing Chimera to trade control of harmful spells and then counter them yourself with Flusterstorm choosing not to pay the one mana.
You might think it odd that Gilded Drake is being used with a Homeward Path based deck but I either get to keep the best creature on the board or if I need to activate Homeward Path then I just sac the creature to High Market. So 2 mana for a 3/3 flyer while removing the biggest threat on the board. Gilded Drake also combos well with Cyclonic Rift.
