The goal for the deck is to get Melira and at least 1 of the creatures with persist on the field with an Altar of Dementia. Melira prevents -1 counters from being put on your creatures and that makes creatures with persist come back after death endlessy. When that is used with Altar of Dementia you can mill someones whole deck out by turn 4 at the earliest (lets face it that is not usually gonna happen that fast but you might be shocked at how fast it is. Bloodflow Connoisseur can be used instead of Altar of Dementia in the combo mentioned above as a sac machine and it can be used to turn her into a 20+/20+ powerhouse that cant be blocked if you use rouges passage. If all else fails get melira out with a persist creature and put Dark Privilege on her so that she cant die so easy because she can sac to regenerate. Either kitchen finks or Murderous Redcap would be great in that situation as well (you could get insane life by sacking kitchen finks or you could kill everyone with murderous redcaps ability. Because of the way that regeneration and that card in general work you can use the Dark Privilege as a sac engine (you do not need to use a regen shield before you get another 1). If you are unable to get melira out at all for some reason Heartmender can help but it wont be as fast/effective. That being said there are Green Sun's Zenith in there to try to help keep that from happening and Glissa makes a great defender because almost no one wants to attack the 1st strike death touch while also giving you a way to get artifacts from the graveyard.
