The primary mechanic this deck uses is Phenax, God of Deception's mill ability. The deck is packed with high toughness walls and defenders (many of which have additional beneficial abilities) that can both capitalize on Phenax's mill, but also be used as blockers when other players realize what you're up to and gang up on you.

I've added in some contingency cards to deal with the inevitable moment you reveal your true colors and the other players turn on you. Propaganda, Collective Restraint and War Tax penalize attackers with mana costs per attacker. Crawlspace limits the number of creatures that can attack you to two, creating a bottleneck effect. Darkness prevents all damage for just one mana. There's also some boardwipe with cards like Cyclonic Rift.

This is my first attempt at a commander deck, and I'm new to MTG in general. So feel free to make suggestions!
