I've found that after years of watching the table play magic while I durdle, the only way to participate is to be unashamedly oppressive. I don't have the budget, either monetarily, or with time to yoke out a deck of my own design that will heavily compete against the bro's, so slowing the game down that enables me to participate is the strategy that enables me to actively participate. I don't run extra turn cards in Narset, but extra combat step cards instead.

The focus is to slow the game down and break combos until opponents are locked out.

The deck was designed to be interactive for multiplayer, not a quick win.

Defensive is the strategy, and removing your threats by stealing them adds to the efficiency of casting spells for free.

Stax-gassing out the table is the goal, but this deck is weak against board wipes.

I specifically refused to put turn cookies in the deck like the other Narset decks, because masturbation in Magic is lame.
