Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is the main build I run with in Pioneer, I have been playing elves as my main in every format since 2002. This closely mimics many of the netdeck elf builds out there (including Fernando Flor's build which came first place in a 5k tournament recently http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=42767&d=516138&f=PI ) however I have put in the time, effort and research to back it up.

The idea is to get as many elves into play as possible, hit a shaman of the pack and then chord of calling a second shaman of the pack. Obviously you can still go wide on board and attack in to kill that way.

Updates Add

Acquired 1x Turntimber Symbiosis and added it to the mainboard. Adjusted the mana base accordingly.

Edit:

The data on thoughtseize suggests that if you play any main-board you play only 2, however if you're going to play a 2 of emergency interaction card there is an argument that 2x Abrupt Decay is better and that throughtseize should be a sideboard card no-matter what.

There is also an argument that the 2x Secluded Courtyard should be 2x Llawnowar Wastes so that you can more easily cast your thoughtseize or abrupt decay
