A +1/+1 counter synergy deck that abuses Pir's ability to facilitate an aggressive strategy that plays above the curve. There are powerful synergies galore with your 3 drop commander, and he pairs very well with other counter rewarding effects. Toothy is an excellent payoff and you almost always draw the cards off his ability.

Cards like Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Bred for the Hunt, Coastal Piracy and Bident of Thassa ensure you don't run out of gas and grow Toothy into a powerful threat. Finish the game with Tuskguard Captain, Hadana's Climb, and Herald of Secret Streams.
