Thoughts Appreciated!

My main concern with the current iteration of the deck is the land base. Unclaimed Territory isn't quite doing what I'd want it to, and I usually en up being unable to cast either blue or red spells (especially non-creature ones).

Any suggestions to improve the deck (preferably on a budget!) are welcome.

About the Deck

The deck is built around fast evasive creatures, with Warkite Marauder at its helm. Combined with cheap ping damage from Fanatical Firebrand , Lightning Strike and Wizard's Lightning , he can take down most creatures your opponent controls without even touching them. If you curve him into Izzet Staticaster , you can cast all the aforementioned ping into your opponent's face instead. (giving you a great position to burn).

Our one-drops are as expendable as they come. Fanatical Firebrand stays relevant throughout the game as it essentially gives all our creatures +1 potential damage. It also excels at killing pesky mana dorks. Siren Stormtamer stays relevant by essentially giving all our creatures (and ourselves) hexproof. It does require us to keep one open but that is usually fine.

Vance's Blasting Cannons   tops the mana curve to deliver a final push if necessary. Doubling down on cards at the beginning of your turn can be huge and if it does need to flip, the 3 ping damage per turn is likely to seal your games.

Curious Obsession is a consistent +1 extra damage and card draw engine with incentive to attack, as is Chart a Course .

Suggestions and feedback always welcome!

Updates Add

I think this deck could be a lot more consistent if it had acccess to better cards that generate more value.

Branchin out of pirate tribal might screw with the manabase, so instead I'm trying to add only humans or wizards (mainly human wizards). That way, Unclaimed Territory can be set to either humans or pirates, depending on the opening hand. The second Unclaimed Territory can then be set to the other type to cover all creature cards.

Izzet Staticaster and Stormchaser Mage seem like they would fit the deck very well. I'm replacing the Protean Raiders and maybe also the Storm Fleet Aerialist with them. What's great about these non-pirates is that they do survive Fiery Cannonade. It also triggers the stormchaser's prowess, and the staticaster can deal an additional damage to anything that did not immediately die to the wipe. Good synergy.

To make this deck fully human, Fanatical Firebrand and Siren Stormtamer would need to be replaced. They fill very specific and crucial roles in the deck however, so finding suitable replacements might prove hard.
