After many long years of crusading in the names of their gods the knights return, burdened by a pestilential plague to which they themselves are immune.

What fabulous flavor! The appearance of Aryel, Knight Of Windgrace in Dominaria this year made it at long last possible to make my 60 card Plague Knights an EDH deck.

The strategy is simple. Use Darkest Hour to render all creatures black, and use the pro black knights against them. Also, Pestilence and Pestilence Demon make board wiping a cinch turn after turn while leaving the knights intact. Thanks to Circle Of Protection Black and Rune Of Protection Black you can be protected as well.

If this strategy is thwarted, the knights themselves are far from chumps, and get more offensive thanks to Akroma's Memorial, Eldrazi Monument, and other such goodies.

In the future I hope to add an Avacyn to make my non-creature permanents indestructible when budget allows. This is a first attempt at this build, so suggestions are very welcome!
