With this Ixalan Block U/B Revel in Riches deck, dazzle and trick your opponent into helping you amass the fortune of a pirate lord!
My local friends and I have a casual Ixalan Block league, because we all love pirates, and here's what I'm working on for my primary deck. I am concurrently working on a primarily black version of this concept, but it's super depressing for me to play. This deck is a bit more challenging, but a bit craftier in execution. Don't just stall your opponent until your win condition, let them help you achieve it.
Revel in Riches is our primary win condition. Sadly, this deck won't be taking much advantage of murdering the opponent's creatures for treasure that this card offers, but a well timed Dire Fleet Hoarder might turn a trade into double or triple your treasure with one or more of these on the table. Otherwise, let's focus on getting that 10 treasure!
Deadeye Plunderers is our secondary win condition. If for some reason you can't keep Revel in Riches on the battlefield, use all those Treasure tokens to buff these guys instead and swing in for a traditional control finish.
