Junk deck I'm putting together for the rotation into theros. Lifegain is a major theme of the deck, and pretty much all of the creatures and Whip of Erebos contribute to that end.

Deathrite Shaman: With this guy out after a grisly salvage there are so many options, lifegain and mana dorking included. Also a decent body for a 1 drop that I'll always have mana for.

Scavenging Ooze: Awesome card for this kind of deck, works much better with black and therefore spot removal in there. Can pump my whole team at instant speed if Archangel of Thune is out.

Sylvan Caryatid: A decent blocking body, ultimate in mana fixing and hexproof to boot.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice: Amazing synergy with the powerhouses of this deck, turns Obzedat, Ghost Council into an every turn thragtusk and immediately lets Archangel of Thune put counters on the team. Has a fat ass and therefore doesn't care about even Mizzium Mortars once she resolves.

Obzedat, Ghost Council: This guy is solid. Whip of Erebos means that if you manage to remove ghost dad he's gonna come back and stay back. Amazing synergy with Archangel of Thune and Trostani, Selesnya's Voice.

Archangel of Thune: The sexy lady herself. Turns normal lifegain into a team full of fatties.

Whip of Erebos: One of my favorite cards from theros. Not only does the lifelink contribute to the life-gainyness of this deck but it turns Obzedat, Ghost Council into an unremovable nightmare.
