Kess storm received a number of pieces in WAR, making its traditional game plan, even without doomsday, much more resilient. Narset, Parter of Veils adds redundancy to your Notion Thief plan, same goes for Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac . Ral, Storm Conduit offers a new avenue of attack, allowing you to infinitely copy your spells like Twincast and expansion//explosion to do infinite damage to your opponents faces.

Overall, a non Doomsday LED build of Kess seems more viable than ever, even within a semi-competitive meta thanks to these brand new walkers.

So why this build over a standard doomsday plan?

A) Budget Without LED or Fetches I honestly think this build is just better than one including doomsday. You can avoid dead draws from doomsday combo pieces while also increasing the redunency of your remaining plans.

B) Flexablity and Variation in Game Play

This build allows for a much larger number of paths to victory than your average Kess deck.
