Sideboard

I know there are plenty of Mono-Green Dungrove aggro decks but I just love this playstyle and wanted to have my version out! I love how this deck has plenty of win cons pretty much based around hitting hard and hitting fast. The Fight mechanic from Ulvenwald Tracker is especially useful in either pumping up your Predator Ooze or killing off weaker creatures to any of your stronger ones. The Champion of Lambholt is an amazing card. Just give her rancor, or god forbid pair with Wolfir Silverheart and practically nothing can block on their side. She is like a more useful Odric, Master Tactician who constantly gets bigger. The benefit to not having costly creatures, is that by turn 5 you can summon anything in your deck, all you need is 6 to tutor for that special card to win the game. It is also pretty funny to tutor for 1, grab Tracker, reshuffle, and proceed to tear apart their front lines. Black decks have the advantage with their kill spells and whatnot.. But if you move fast enough, nothing can stop this deck from steam rolling. One of my favorite plays is to summon Garruk, Primal Hunter on the minus and grab 5 to 8 cards!! It is an amazing way to turn the game around having access to a plethora of cards turns before you'd originally be able to. It is even funnier to do that play and then get another Garruk to do the same thing after you throw your entire hand on the board because of the low cost creatures!

Well, it took me 2 months of playing at FNM but I've finally gotten 1st place!! This was only the second time I played this deck and boy did it do wonders!

First game- 2/0
I played against a sort of exalted black something deck. It wasn't very well put together so it was an easy win, plus he also wasn't able to get nearly the amount of creatures out that I could.

Second game- 2/0
Honestly, I just played yesterday, and I can't even remember what deck he used. All I remember is that I beat him down very quickly with a Predator Ooze, Ulvenwald Tracker combo.

Third Game- 1/1/1
This match was very frustrating. He was playing a Gideon Jura control deck. The first match took literally 30 minutes of me throwing out creatures to chump block his batter skull.. Once I got out my tracker, I was able to slowly destroy each of his creatures turn by turn.. Basically I was able beat him the first match, but he got his super combo the second match. By the time we got to the 3rd match, we had like 5 minutes to play. I played all out and got him down to 8 with me at 25.. But of course he played Day of Judgment before I was able to win on the last turn... sigh

Forth Game- 2/1
This game was quite the aggro match up. He had [Odric, Master Tactician]] deck that easily overwhelms. However, as soon as Ulvenwald Tracker hit the field, he easily destroyed his board by denying Odric a turn to attack.

Fifth Game 2/0
I loved this match. I don't like this kid, like at all, and it was very satisfying to absolutely destroy his G/W deck. He also used Sword of Body and Mind which was annoying as it was on Sigarda, Host of Herons... But he only got that combo out once. Both matches he attempted to swing out for damage but realized it just wasn't enough. Which made it easy for me to counter swing for 30 or more!

Sixth Game 2/0
Best match ever, this is the top 8 final match and guess who I playing.. The kid from my last match with the G/W. We get repaired and I jump for joy and a proceed to destroy him yet again for a decisive victory. Boy did he hate me and my deck!

I took 1st with 13 points, 2 or 3 above 2nd place. I was quite happy! Won some money, but I didn't care about that, my goal has always been to take first and I finally achieved it!!
