What's the best way to commit sin with Nin? One of my favorites is to let my opponents cut me down to my last breath and then I lash out with something like Tears of Rage to win. The problem is maintaining a good board state with enough token creatures. (Wrath effects are especially troublesome.) To accomplish that, I use counterspells. We all know there's nothing worse than having your win con get countered or discarded. Things like Spellshift will keep those terrible lies at bay. And if I find myself wanting something I can never have, I just pull the plug with Clock of Omens & Nevinyrral's Disk.

Notes on using the commander:The only time I use Nin on my opponent(s)'s creatures is when there is a controlling threat on the field like, say Royal Assassin. As for using her for my own purposes, it's probably easier to say which creatures of mine I don't want to ping. So drawing cards is the main focus here.

Alternate win cons in here include Stuffy Doll & his head like a hole, Pyrite Spellbomb, Flame Fusillade, Sharding Sphinx, & Myr Battlesphere. I'm still looking at other options like Last-Ditch Effort.

Things get fun when you start rolling with combos like Prototype Portal & Solemn Simulacrum. Throw in Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient & Unwinding Clock and your opponents will be down in it. Use Trinket Mage to get a Sol Ring(that's what I get) for your ringfinger or a Skullclamp. When you get Burning Anger save it for your Cryptoplasm.

Once you hit Ral Zarek's ultimate, you should find yourself sanctified inside of 2-5 extra turns to unleash some rotten combos. So you may be asking, "why have Liquimetal Coating in the deck?" I'm glad you asked. Use it on Ral before or while his ult is on the stack. Then have Kurkesh copy the ult & say "Kinda I want to do that again!" Ouch!
