It's a hard life, to enjoy playing red/white EDH decks!

All the removal, all the aggro, a ton of artifacts and voltron plays, but it lacks that certain unnameable something (that something is ramp and card draw). I'm gonna keep rolling that rock up the hill though, so here's another try at Boros colored fun.

Jor is interesting. He's not quite a complex as some of the other Boros commanders, but he works for both token swarm and voltron strategies. Will he be spread too thin if he tries to do both?

An alternate idea that I had would be to run just about every knight and sword that I could find. That deck might be so different that it will require it's own address.

Picked many of the ideas out of this Jor Kadeen primer (minus the MLD), and also a few things from Tapped Out.

UPDATE: I take back what I said about ol' Jor. He's not simple, he's actually quite complex. The trouble is, the complexity comes from wanting to go in two directions, tokens and voltron. He's an anthem, so the most efficient way to get power on the board with Jor is to have a lot of creatures. He's also a beefy guy with metalcraft, and that makes him a good voltron dude.

In the end, I removed the token strategies (although the cards are still in the sideboard) and focused on getting Jor and a small selection of knights onto the battlefield, equipping them with swords, and swinging.

The deck never quite came together the way I wanted it to (unless I had a Mana Vault and a Sol Ring in my opening hand), but it did give me some good ideas for an upcoming mono-white deck and an upcoming mono-red deck.
