ramp with low drop creatures such as Axebane Guardian, Gatecreeper Vine, Arbor Elf, and Avacyn's Pilgrim to play Gilded Lotus then finish with Primal Surge, The Clone is a good card to keep because it adds flexibility, whether I need early game mana ramp by creating another Axebane Guardian, mid game draw by creating more Soul of the Harvest or late game when I can play multiple Craterhoof Behemoth. Every card in this deck is a permanent with the exception of Primal Surge, hence the Codex Shredder. If I come to a stop and have to exile another Primal Surge then I can retrieve the one I just used from my graveyard and continue on my next turn.

Tell me what you think I can do to make this less prone to board wipe and control players.

Also any ideas on how I can avoid drawing another Primal Surge once I've played one? If there's any cards in standard right now that let you look at the top card of your library I would be able to draw it using Soul of the Harvest before continuing to mill my deck onto the field.
