This deck is similar to Prime Speaker Bant decks running around, except swapping out white for black, allowing for some fun new little synergies in the deck:
Arbor Elf is still in, as well as Farseek for the beautiful, sweet ramp that green is known for. This deck is heavy green, and Arbor Elf and Farseek is bound to get the ball rolling.
Dreg Mangler is the deck's Loxodon Smiter. It's not a 4/4 body, but it can come out swinging for 3 the turn it's played. It also have Scavenge, which can be easily looked past, but it can win you a game out of nowhere if you pay attention to it.
Experiment One replaces Avacyn's Pilgirm; I'm less focused on my turn 2 "Smiter" because I also run Strangleroot Geist, and he's a nice turn 2 play as well, especially if your turn one was an Experiment One.
Wolfir Avenger, while it doesn't fly and flicker creatures like Restoration Angel, it has regenerate, and comes out a turn earlier. He also works well with Master Biomancer, flashing in a 3 drop 5/5 seems good.
Speaking of ,Master Biomancer, this guy just makes all the creatures in the deck better(except maybe Strangleroot, but if you haste in a 4/3 for two mana, I don't see why it's that much of a bad thing]. He works exceptionally well with Prime Speaker Zegana. With just Master Biomancer out, Zegana will enter with 4 +1/+1 counters, netting you 5 cards. If you play Thragtusk before playing Zegana, Thragy will have two +1/+1 counters on him, and Zegana will enter with 9 +1/+1 counters. At that point, your opponent should probably scoop.
Finally, the deck lacks Angel of Serenity like the Bant decks, but it does have removal: Abrupt Decay and Tragic Slip serves purpose for Game 1, while the SB leaves more options open.
This deck has one key secret tech(which isn't so secret, and the credit for the idea has to go Melissa DeTora for using it in her Bant Control deck... or whoever did it first). The secret tech is: Kessig Wolf Run. While none of the spells require red, I have a Stomping Ground, a Steam Vents, and a Blood Crypt in the main(I can fetch them with Farseek) to activate the two Wolf Runs in the deck. Melissa tested, omegashift approved.
Finally, the sideboard is still in it's preliminary stages. If this deck get enough interest, I can update this to explain what my ideas for sideboarding for the current meta is(like for example, for Naya Blitz I would take out 4 Experiment One, both Prime Speakers, 2 Farseeks, and MAYBE a Biomance and a Mangler for 3 Deathrite Shaman because gaining life will keep me out of the red zone, 3 Vampire Nighthawk for the same reason, 2 Abrupt Decay for more removal and MAYBE the 2 Simic Charm because I want to test and see what this charm can do for me). I would love feedback and +1's. I'll be running it next FNM to see how it fares.
