I wanted to make a control based deck that used Prophet of Kruphix in it since its a card I enjoy playing.
Main Win Condition:
Phenax, God of Deception - allows for a lot of mill and with Prophet of Kruphix allows for mill on both turns. If Phenax, God of Deception becomes a creature with a Kiora's Follower becomes a lot of mill power.
Other Win Condition:
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed - allows for great control in combination with Phenax, God of Deception or Oracle's Insight and Kiora's Follower for instant speed exile.
Prognostic Sphinx - Flying damage that is hard to remove. I know Khans of Tarkir has a fair amount of cards that can deal with it but i think its still a good card.
Other Card Explaination:
Kiora's Follower - Main for of mana ramp early game, with versatility late game by being able to untap other permanents.
Courser of Kruphix - pretty much a self explanatory, staple in any green deck this format.
Bile Blight + Hero's Downfall + Sultai Charm - my cards for remove has variety and takes care of most situations.
Dissolve - while the format is not big in counter spells this format, with important card like Prophet of Kruphix in the deck I like to give it a little protection.
Oracle's Insight - good card, maybe a little mana costly for what its worth but the extra draws and ability to tap King Macar, the Gold-Cursed has gotten me out of a lot of tight situations.
Not Included:
Sylvan Caryatid - I know its a good mana ramp card and a staple in most green decks, I just prefer Kiora's Follower since it does more for me late game.
Elvish Mystic - another good mana ramp card, but only green mana is not the super useful in this deck.
