Prossh, Skyraider of Kher Competitive Build

Commander / EDH Aggro BRG (Jund) Combo Competitive Infinite Combo

CTRLer_Head

This is a build of Prossh, Skyraider of Kher that lately has gone nearly undefeated at my LGS netting me first place in multiple EDH events.

The idea like many other Prossh decks is to go infinite with Food Chain + Prossh, Skyraider of Kher for an infinite amount of creatures entering the battlefield, dying, and mana to use on creatures generated by food chain. Blood Artist, Deathbringer Thoctar, Goblin Sharpshooter, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Impact Tremors will kill everyone at once if you get food chain going by dealing direct damage. Fun fun. The deck likes to pack a lot of combat tricks to wipe out players with weak board state, combat in most cases acts as a backup plan if your opponent manages to get rid of Food Chain. The deck has many ways to give your creatures haste to help come out of the blue pretty standard stuff. Boltwing Marauder will make any creature as big as you want with Food although honsetly I've killed people just by casting Prossh once and swinging in with Bolt or a hasty Prossh, very powerful and not a lot of people see it coming right away until a +14 something is swinging into their face. Xenagos, God of Revels is not only a great haste source for Prossh but when Prossh eats his Kobolds before combat Xenagos will pump him to 22 power, just enough to knock someone out of the game. Beastmaster Ascension behaves similarly but can be harder to pull off, the goal is to attack with Prossh and at least 6 Kobolds to trigger the 7 attacker requirement to make the Ascension activate making a exact total of 40 damage if all are unblocked. However sometimes you can't beat instant speed dickery. Psychotic Fury and Temur Battle Rage both give double strike at instant speed to Prossh which (similar to the Xenagos scenario) will make Prossh commader leathal after 6 kobolds. A card that is severely underrated is Hatred this spell is absurd, not only will it make ANY creature letal with enough life but it is incredibly good for kicking players from the game, attack with all your kobolds for no reason, chances are one will be unblocked and your opponent has less life than you do, if all else fails Sheoldred, Whispering One and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth give you your pick of attack targets to literally hate them out of the game. If all else fails there is always Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond simple but clunky his is a last resort, if all else goes to hell you'll be glad you had a backup plan. The rest of the build is a toolbox of tutors, recusion spells and targeted removal to deal with the very few things that will disrupt you making sure when you decide to end the game, no one will be able to stop you.

I hope you enjoy the deck, suggestions are always welcome and if you play Prossh, Skyraider of Kher and have some crazy tricks up your sleeve I'd love to hear about them.

Thank you to Bearhemoth and his deck 31-05-15-best-damn-prossh-deck for showing me this easy combo for infinite mana. Parallel Lives and Phyrexian Altar with Prossh is just way too good and the cards on their own have use outside the combo keeping them from being dead draws, I love it! Ive decided to take out Shriekmaw and Tragic Slip at least for now, I noticed I was a little heavy handed with spot removal and these two are the least flexible.

Again thank you Bearhemoth your help is greatly appreciated
