This deck utilizes the well known combo Grand Architect + Pili-Pala . Most other cards are there just to keep myself alive long enough to get the combo of and to protect the combo itself.

Lightning Bolt and Spark Jolt is used in the early stages of the game to keep my opponents side clear of creatures, Flame Slash is used for this to but works on even tougher creatures. Fireball and Red Sun's Zenith can be used if needed to.

The counters in the deck are not fixed as different counters are more suitable for different situations.

Leyline of Anticipation and Telepathy are always a nice touch and could not make things worse.

Other cards are most there for scrying and drawing cards.
