Psychosis Crawler, the star of the show, actually has his behind-the-scenes partner to thank: Jace's Archivist. You discard the full hand, and then draw equal to the highest hand. Having two Crawlers, which is easily achievable using the Cryptoplasm, means that a single use of the discard ability can be lethal damage provided that one of the Reliquary Towers made it out onto the field.

This deck relies on Cyclonic Rift to get rid of problems when things are tough, or else simply abuses Elixir of Immortality to hold up in the mean time. Kira, Great Glass-Spinner has been added for some anti-blue, but I'm not sure how I like that right now.

Jace Beleren's +2 ability works well with the discard trick if your opponent somehow ended up having more cards than you, but it works even better with Consecrated Sphinx. That Sphinx also likes Kami of the Crescent Moon.

Grand Architect is so good for mono-blue decks, and it just helps get out Venser's Journal and the Crawler out faster, and technically makes Elixirs free if for some reason I need that.
