Enchantment (4)

Aw, look at the Mortis Dogs . Just look at their widdle bony faces and their adorable exposed ribcages. And they're just 2/2! Absolutely precious.

Oh, so they're attacking now. Well, that's what they do. They are a bit bigger now, but still not really a problem at 4/2. Just let it through.

Aaaaand Vampire's Bite . Ouch. So seven damage to the face, but it's just one attack so... Fling. Fourteen dam- oh. Sorry, that's twenty-one damage. How much life did you have again?

Damn shame. Cute little guys ain't they?

While the Mortis Dogs are definitely the big show, the deck itself is a little more nuanced than the name implies. A touch of luck should get you a Tormented Soul on turn one, while a touch of luck and 2 life will get you a Vault Skirge. Buff them when you can... they lose life from the Souls, and you gain life from the Skirges.

Once you get a Dog and a red mana source, game over. Ideally, they won't try to block the Mortis Dogs (I didn't the first time one hit me), but Madcap Skills and Apostle's Blessing circumvent most blockers whether they like it or not. Even if they do block (heck, they might kill it for you), you can still kill the dog. It gets to be a painful decision.

Hellhole Flailer is another nuke, though admittedly not as effective as the dogs. More expensive overall, but functional all the same.
