This deck basically works by putting out a Puresteel Paladin, then barfing up mana artifacts to draw cards off of it. Then you can Retract to make your storm count higher, then Grapeshot. Quick note: I found the actual Puresteel Paladin combo on YouTube, but this list is entirely of my creation. Also, if you copy this (which would be awesome) please give credit where credit is due.
THE GOD HAND:
2 Mana Sources (2 Mox Opals but preferably 1 Mox Opal and 1 land)
1 Puresteel Paladin
1 Retract (this could also be an equipment)
1 more Mox Opal (this could also be an equipment)
2 Equipments
Note: Any of the cards can be Gitaxian Probes
HOW IT GOES OFF:
Use all Gitaxian Probe to find pieces mentioned above.
Land or 2 equipment into Mox Opal (then second one if it is the case).
Puresteel Paladin.
Use remaining equipment until you find a Mox Opal and a Retract, then storm off.
MAINBOARD:
Puresteel Paladin, the equipments, Retract, Grapeshot, and the lands shouldn't need explanations
4x Gitaxian Probe: This gives you some info in the early turns, plus it gives you a card for when you are a little stuck. It also combos well with Noxious Revival. Unfortunately, I only run 3 of these due to the fact that I want to run Apostle's Blessings for resiliency.
4x Mox Opal: This gives you mana when you are tapped out. Obviously if you could play infinite lands per turn, this wouldn't be needed.
2x Noxious Revival: This allows you to get back your killed/countered Puresteel Paladin and used Retracts. I am only running it as a two-of because it is not extremely necessary, but useful in some cases.
2x Serum Visions: This helps me set up a turn 2 win very well. Again, I only run 3 for the Apostle's Blessings. The reason that I am only running two is because it makes it impossible for me to win turn 1, however g=it is good otherwise.
3x Apostle's Blessing just to stop targeted removal. Credits to Wizard_of_the_Broke
SIDEBOARD:
This is something I would like help with.
At this point, I am running:
3-of Dispatch for interactivity in the case that they overwhelm me. Credits to Wizard_of_the_Broke
4-of Silence because it can be nuts against linear aggro decks: just do it on their upkeep.
4-of Spoils of the Vault against hand disruption. Yes I know this could hypothetically kill me, but if the card I need is 20+ cards deep, I'm probably not going to win anyway.
4-of Void Snare for Chalice of the Void which is all over the place now. Credits to SirEpic.
MAYBEBOARD:
Some amount of Myth Realizeds as another wincon, os I don't have to be as aggressive with casting the equipments.
Some amount of Cranial Platings because it triggers Puresteel Paladin, and it also is an alternate wincon. Credits to GlassCannonBOOM.
Some amount of
Disrupting Shoal
s because they hose Chalice of the Void. Yes I know that it has to be a blue card (to pitch), however, you can just pay 2, or pitch the next card.
Some amount of Pact of Negations because they are especially good on your turn when you are attempting to combo off. Other than that, they aren't very good.
Some amount of Twisted Images because if you look at the equipments, 50% of them boost the equipped creature's toughness. Twisted Image would allow the Puresteel Paladin to come crashing in. Credits to Wizard_of_the_Broke
Some amount of Hurkyl's Recalls because while they are strictly worse, they do copy Retract's ability, which is super useful.
Some amount of Muddle the Mixtures because they can be used to counter removal or disruption and tutor for other things. Credits to sdefender.
