You want to get purphoros out as soon as possible, then start playing creatures and making tokens to start burning everyone. I mostly play this deck in multiplayer games to reduce the time they can take. It's nice having a clock on the game. It's tons of fun too, and really shows you how powerful mono-red can be in commander.
