Your generic quest deck, I ended up evolving from a kemba white weenie which you can find the 3rd version of on here, which ultimately this is the 4th version. Which clearly is without kemba.
My deck is different because I use sword as my second equipment. I feel it is a bigger utility toward the deck, to be able to stoneforge 2nd turn search for the sword, put it out with the 3 mana, or just stay untapped for condemn, use a journey, play more creatures but 4th turn you can play and equip, or 2nd 3rd turn play 4th turn equip with 1 mana untapped on 3rd to condemn. Either way the wolves do help as effective blockers in a deck with almost all flying you need something to stick back and block that generally has no chance to get through anyways. Protection is always amazing, and the decking helps the flow of the game sometimes, but sometimes like against decks with pyromancer's ascension can hurt you a lot. I originally had darksteel axes for protection against equipment destruction, then I switched to the one that gave shroud and unblockable, but ultimately it didn't seem like a huge problem.
The sideboard is based upon playing against mono green ramp, gb ramp, and gub ramp, ub control, uw control, ub infect, gb infect, and my own kemba weenie.
Decks i've faced outside this block are a few of the champion decks ex. randy buehler's counter deck, and the reoccurring nightmares deck which the guy's name eludes me.
Ultimately infect is a lead problem if the control is quick enough, but they have limited creatures as you don't usually. I use the weakness of only having one set out with infect against them by a hard SB of creature removal. Other than that this deck is fast enough to deal with most decks out there, I have not had a problem so far with anything but ub infect but I have played it over 5times as many times as the others.
Any input on the SB or MB would be helpful. I'm looking to incorporate some of the SB into my MB be it 1 condemn 1 journey, or whatnot I feel it could help out on first round.
My SB originally Didn't have Leonin, but it seems to be one of the only counter's to the quest decks, and certainly kills ramp decks.
I also originally had dispense justice x 3 and only 3 condemns but I changed to 4 and 4 journey, they so far seem to help just as good, I might just cut it down to 3 of each though.
