Rafiq's Gone Fishing

Commander / EDH*

Aethaleon

This deck uses giant sea creatures to hit hard with Rafiq's exalted double strike. The other focus of the deck is just to have fun with the creatures in it and be less consistent with how it plays. However, it also focuses on using it's planeswalkers to great effect. Jace gets his ultimate off fairly often to draw 20 cards. The gods help with mana production and card draw. If I get a lot of mana built up from Kruphix, God of Horizons I can cast enough things to get proliferate working and then use my planeswalkers' ultimate. Deadeye Navigator + Ulvenwald Hydra gets all my lands out. In just about every game I'm able to get Mirari's Wake and then copy it with Clever Impersonator for triple mana on lands. If I can, it's possible to play the impersonator and copy nothing, then play Progenitor Mimic and copy the Impersonator, then have the new copies of Impersonator enter as copies of Mirari's Wake to double my mana each turn. I've only done that a couple times, but it was fun when it happens. After drawing 20 cards with a Jace ultimate, I can unload the hand with Myojin of Life's Web and then I basically have the game. I can also get 4 extra turns stacked up with Medomai the Ageless, Finest Hour, and Rafiq. So two combat phases with double strike on Medomai.
