The Lord Hath Returned!!
This deck has had a long journey. It is the first commander deck I created after modifying Prossh precon, hence why is has been up for so long. I discontinued the list years ago, and it was only recently that I picked up my old crazed friend. The old was highly disorganized, including high cost planeswalkers like Karn Liberated and other controlling cards. Basically, we had a little bit of everything!
Now some years have passed, and I have had the pleasure of looking through all of my past decisions (many horrible ones xD). Being a more proficient deck builder (hopefully), I set out to right my past mistakes.
We want to cast big things, and use them to trample our opponents to 0. To accomplish this feat, our friendly Rakdos has befriended some odd colorless giants like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and other big unwieldy creatures like Dread Cacodemon (which I fondly call cocoademon). These monstrosties usually take an enormous ammount to cast making them rare inclusions into most lists. With Rakdos however, these otherwise huge costs can be circumvented!
Early game is fairly simlpe. Your starting hand will ideally consist of enough resources to cast Rakdos, one enabler to do damage so we can cast him and a tutor or hand refill. Ideally, we want Rakdos out asap. The sooner he is out, the harder it is to stop for our opponents.
