I love Izzet. The new Spellheart Chimera made it way more viable and since you don't need a Cyclops or Guttersnipe on the field to start moving along your win condition control is a lot more helpful. This is the first prototype of a Theros Izzet deck. Lots of draw power with Quicken, Divination and Steam Augury to insure you keep casting cheap instants and sorceries. Some control with Syncopate, Aetherize and Cyclonic Rift. Board wipe with Mizzium Mortars. Just started considering Jace over Ral. The idea is you use Jace's 0 ability on yourself to pump up your Chimera. 10 cards will usually get you at least +6 to his attack power. Burn/creature removal with searing spear. Turn and Burn for annoying big threats. One problem I've noticed through play test is that with all the responsive blue spells cyclops doesn't get to have a lot of fun. Looking for more good red burny spells if anyone can suggest some.

Side board: Electrickery for swarmy token decks. Act of Treason for decks that like big monsters. Mizzium skin for decks with Target removal. Sleep just because I like it.

Fun thing with Mizzium and Electrickery is that if an Electromancer is out the overload is free!
