Commander: Rasputin Dreamweaver

Sideboard

Maybeboard

The deck is designed to take advantage of Blink effects and Wizard tribal. Rasputin Dreamweaver (a wizard) enters the battlefield ("ETB") with 7 counters that can add 1 colorless mana or prevent 1 damage to himself. This (in addition to other mana acceleration in the deck) enables the production of gobs of mana which can be used to pump out massive creatures, play out lots of cards from the card draw in the deck, or use some other mana sink.

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV can be used as an alternate commander if you want to switch the deck up. Many of the older cards have been retroactively typed wizards, such as Sea Scryer (now a Merfolk Wizard.) I intentionally avoid having infinite combos, which are generally unfun in commander, and the deck is intended for multiplayer.

(some cards fill multiple roles)
- Blink effects (to blink in/out the creatures with good ETB effects)
- Recursion (to bring cards back from the graveyard)
- Bounce (an alternate to blink that can also serve as temporary removal)
- Wizards (with beneficial effects and tribal benefits)
- Blink targets (with ETB effects)
- Mana acceleration
- Mana sinks
- Copy effects
- Countermagic/Control (of course, since the deck is blue/white)
- Card advantage/draw/search
and of course, lands.

- When blinking Rasputin Dreamweaver, let him go to the Commander zone. The blink will still bring him back, since it tracks the card specifically. (You can look it up.) Thus you don't have to risk him being left in exile due to some other trickery, such as...
- Mistmeadow Witch plus Time Stop. In response to the re-entering the battlefield trigger, you cast Time Stop, and the card(s) stay permanently exiled.
- Blinking Kederekt Leviathan while it's unearthed allows him to evade the end of turn exile.
- Austere Command plus Faith's Reward destroys what you chose, then gets you all your stuff back, triggering their ETB effects again.
- Note that Venser, the Sojourner can target any permanent you own. This means anything that has been stolen from you is a valid target, so you get to grab it back!

Deck is still in beta. Feel free to leave comments/suggestions! I've been pretty thorough, though. I had to narrow it down from ~250 cards, lol. I'll start tweaking it after I play it a bit. Also, I have avoided some cards which are more expensive ($-wise) and non-crucial, such as Vendilion Clique, and Gilded Drake.
