RB Minos: The Hands of Fate

Standard*

Arachnoquake

Sideboard

Toying w/ Minotaurs with BNG coming out. Stoked about Ragemonger and Mogis, God of Slaughter. Just screwing about with this one ATM.

Basic idea so far is to poop out minotaurs and try and get at least one Five-Alarm Fire out, then turtle to let your creatures deal combat damage via blocking and pop the FAF ability. Since you don't have to sac it and the abilities trigger independently on each FAF in play, the more the merrier.

Ragemonger makes it easier to get minotaurs out. With one out all minotaurs have CMC<=3, and with two out you can get out a Rageblood Shaman for one. Get out Mogis, God of Slaughter to clear the way for you or chip for two. Getting your devotion up to give Mogis a physical form again shouldn't be a problem with the Ragemonger. Then, for a big hit, drop a Fanatic of Mogis. Because you have a few double red cost cards (FAF and the shaman) it's easy to hit for at least 3-4 for a four drop, and late in the game (if you've had time to build and haven't been victim of much removal) I've gotten at least 9. Sneak through with Madcap Skills, or trample by with the Kragma Warcaller/shaman and an army or Deviant Glee and a Felhide Spiritbinder and his token buddy and you'll have a good time.

Shout out for those that get the MST3K reference.

EDIT: Added some of the minotaurs from JOU, but haven't taken a look at the spell side of the equation. More to come.
