Casual Scarecrow/Changeling tribal with Shrine cycle and Gates for alternative win conditions.

Shrines are very under-utilized due to the restrictions in EDH on them matching commander's identity. Let's face it, 1 or 2 shrines for the cost is not worth it. But 3-5? I would say yes, worth it. At 3 shrine's you will have the option of 3 of the following: 3 damage to creature/player, draw 3, opponent discards 3, 6 Life, and 3 1/1 Spirit tokens on up-keep depending on what you have. Now consider 4 or 5 shrines, gets crazy fast and becomes its own win-con.

I know that a 5 color commander (colorless possible I guess) can be expensive to build out lands on, so in that respect, I chose the Gate cycle and Maze's End as an alternative win-con.

Infinite Repeatable Combo Win Condition: Commander out with 1 additional creature. Cast one:Changeling Berserker, Changeling Hero, or Changeling Titan exiling the non-commander creature. Cast one of the two remaining "Champion" Changelings exiling the one you just brought out. Next cast the 3rd, exiling the one you just cast, bringing back the other and exiling on the one on the field repeating as much as needed. Each enter allows you to destroy a permanent via Reaper King ability. Continue until all enemy permanents are gone.

1-hit Commander kill: Reaper King + Blessing of the Nephilim + Might of the Nephilim = 21 Commander Damage

I played this deck 3 times. Once in a 3-player rumble and twice in a head to head.

All 3 times, I was mana screwed from the start, not because of lack of color, I actually didn't have much of an issue with color, but land drops were not happening.

In the 3 players game, I essentially couldn't do anything. By the time I got my 5th land the game was pretty much over.

First head to head: opponent got a perfect opening hand and had board lock down by turn 4.

Second head to head I won, barely with 6 life remaining. Popped my commander out on turn 5 with Splinter Twin in hand, almost a lock down there but opponent forced me to discard it. Twinflame was present though and that allowed me to take out something. Then Changeling Hero popped in a sac'd to allow me to destroy another permanent. And somehow, I managed to get 3 of my Nephalim. Glint-Eye Nephilim was first and was targeted for removal and my commander went with it. Then Dune-Brood Nephilim came out and he was promptly disposed of. Then Yore-Tiller Nephilim, which pretty much saved the game for me. Attacked with no blockers available bringing back my commander. Next turn attacked bringing back Dune-Brood, and then turn after the Changling and game was done next turn.

Things I learned: This is a slow deck and I have too many high cost creatures. Getting to 5 colors is not much of a problem. This commander draws hate. Shrines are difficult to get out efficiently.
