SIDEBOARD TACTICS, A FEW EXAMPLES OF HOW TO USE IT:

Example 1 - I played a Mono Black deck tonight that mainly ran 4 Desecration Demon and a bunch of removal spells as it's win-con. I boarded out 3 Legion Loyalist for 4 Act of Treason. In my opening hand, I had 2 Act of Treason and the typical creature + land + burn spells hand. I started with the expected Red Deck Wins strategy (lands, creatures, attack). My opponent's strategy was to kill off some of my creatures until turn 4. On turn 4, my opponent played a Desecration Demon to slow down the tempo even further, and turn the game around at that point. On my turn, I Act of Treason his Desecration Demon while he was tapped out, and swung with everyone for 12. On the next turn, he played another Desecration Demon and sat back with both of them while passing the turn. On my turn, I Act of Treason one of them, sacrificed one of my small creatures before combat to tap his other Desecration Demon, then swung with everyone for the win.

Example 2 - I played an Esper Control deck, that ran the usual Esper setup. I boarded out 1 Shock for 1 Legion Loyalist and all 4 Lightning Strike for 4 Skullcrack. In my opening hand, I had 1 Skullcrack, then drew another one on the following turn. I played pretty passive, not unloading my hand, expecting a Supreme Verdict on turn 4. As expected, a Supreme Verdict on turn 4. I played a couple more creatures right after that while my opponent was tapped out. Eventually, I got my opponent down to 6 life after a few more turns. I pretended to have junk cards/lands in my hand and passed the turn. He played a Sphinx's Revelation for 5 at the end of my turn. In response, double Skullcrack for the win.

Example 3 - Blue/White Control deck match up. In my opening hand, I had a Skullcrack, Legion Loyalist and the typical creature + land hand. I followed the same strategy as the previous example: play passive, do not unload my hand, expect a Supreme Verdict on turn 4. I held the Skullcrack, waiting for his Sphinx's Revelation (it never came). At turn 6 I had him at low life while I had a Ash Zealot and a Rakdos Cackler out. He played Elspeth, Sun's Champion, made some tokens, and passed the turn thinking he was safe. On my turn, I finally played the Legion Loyalist, swung with everyone... his tokens couldn't block.
