Hello guys,
trying to make a deck work revolving around doublestrikes, pump spells. I know you guys know of some cards i've never heard of to go in.
Goal is to hit fast and hard with Haste/Prowess/DoubleStrike. Combined with PumpSpells.
As for surviving games that go little longer then I have
Shaman of the Great Hunt
and Citadel Siege. To add counters and allow my creatures to continue to make it through for damage.
While my goal wasn't a burn deck, I found that
Exquisite Firecraft
is nice to have around to finish of there last bit of life total before the game goes to long and my creatures lose there impact.
Creatures!Monastery Swiftspear Pretty much how I want every first turn to go. Haste and Prowess make her perfect for my early combos with Titan Strength. Attack for 5 on turn two with a scry to try find another land? Yes Please.
Fabled Hero
Double Strike while retaining counters, make him usually the best target for any pump spell, allowing him to consistently grow. And allow prowess triggers on others.
Iroas's Champion
I worst Fabled Hero, not sure if he is worth it. But double strike is nice, especially if I can get some sort of evasion.
I'm open to ANY tips to make this deck FNM playable. Weaknesses I see are, Card Draw, A way to make sure my double strikes get through, and creatures transitioning once opponents place 4 and 5 drop creatures on the board.
