I have read a lot of online hate in regards to my big blue buddy's potential as a competitive commander, but I have had a great deal of success with this deck within my play group. (which can be annoyingly competitive) I basically stay low-key and reactive (as blue usually does) and drop Tromo usually with some equipment already in play, if not I play him with Caged Sun or Extraplanar Lens and slap something on him at the same time. He is typically a two hit kill if not a one-shot with the Inquisitor's Flail. If he gets "no bro'd" or tucked as most people would call it, I can usually pull a win from taking other peoples good stuff via Bribery, Blatant Thievery, Acquire etc... Not really heavy on counterspells by choice, but still has that "watch what you play" effect that blue can have on people. Would love to get some suggestions! Budget not really an issue (although I probably won't run out and buy a Jace the mind sculptor)......
