Rhys the Redeemed: The Token-ing...

Commander / EDH GW (Selesnya) Midrange Tokens

vadesatana

The pride of my EDH decks, Rhys the Redeemed. I move ever closer to having every card foiled that can be.

This deck is a blast to play, keeps up with more competitive decks, and plays consistently.

The theme is to make all the tokens; there is an abundance of the types and plenty of ways to generate them on a large scale. Craterhoof is a beast of a finisher. Doubling Season is such an obvious threat that Parallel Lives gets over shadowed as well the new addition of Anointed Procession. The extra card draw and manipulation effects have to be in place or you will get left behind. Always play Rhy's on Turn 1 or 2; that turn three elf can really get you rolling on tokens if you are hitting the proper stride; also sacking to a Natural Order turn 4 and pulling out Vorinclex, Worldspine Wurm, Sigarda, or even a lower end threat can just be a huge gain.
