My take on a Shrine EDH deck.

I chose Go-Shintai of Life's Origin, which might seem like the obvious choice, but some people prefer Sisay, Weatherlight Captain or Jodah, the Unifier.

Life's Origin, aside from being more thematically relevant, provides ridiculous value as soon as you play like two other shrines. That triggered ability can easily make you control six shrines before you know it. Speaking of six shrines, the pseudo-commander of this deck is Sanctum of All. It's debatably the best card in the deck by far. Somehow looking past the free tutor for any Shrine from your library or graveyard, the real power comes from its second ability which doubles your shrine triggers. If you have a reasonable amount of shrines out (including the tokens generated by Life's Origin) you put a 2-3 turn clock on your opponents' life total.

Win Conditions: (Needless to say Sanctum of All + any of these ups the fun)

While those are the main win conditions in the deck, you can find an opportunity to apply serious pressure with multiple cards in the deck. In particular:

Aside from this being Shrine "Tribal", (Shrine isn't a creature type. Lame. Sorry Path of Ancestry. If I was a richer man, you'd be replaced.) it is extremely enchantment heavy. Due to this, using Enchantress cards like Satyr Enchanter, Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Mesa Enchantress and the like make give you the fuel you need to make big plays without running out of gas. There are a couple other enchantress cards that are great/strictly better than some of these, but they are a little out of the budget range for now. Because of these lovely ladies, running any sort of enchantment value cards (including creatures) gives us, well, value.

This deck also finds a home for an otherwise dog-water card: Doomwake Giant.

Doomwake Giant can very easily pop 4 times in a single turn and mostly wipe your opponents' boards while leaving yours healthier than ever. Speaking of one-sided board wipes, Urza's Ruinous Blast is almost perfect for us. The shrines? Legendary. Your opponents' board? Maybe has 2 legendary creatures. Big value. Also it is $0.20. Wallet value.

When it comes to removal, I opted out of using the traditional instants/sorceries because I want SYNERGY baby!
Instead of the plebian Path to Exile or whatever, we use:

The only instant in the deck is Cyclonic Rift for two reasons: it's Cyclonic Rift, and I had one in the rares binder.

To stop those pesky aggro decks, we have:

For mana-fixing, we have a couple sorceries and artifacts that do the trick pretty well.

Lands- Yes, I know. My lands are slow. I plan on replacing all Thriving lands with the Bond Lands including Green or White since we are leaning heavier into both of those colors. Mana Confluence is another one that might find its way out of my Meren of Clan Nel Toth and into Shrines.

That's all for now. There's other good cards like Sterling Grove. That does things too.
