This deck revolves around amassing large amounts of life and dropping Serra Avatar over and over via Roon of the Hidden Realm and other flicker effects.

Key Synergies/Roles:

• Angelic Chorus, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, Celestial Mantle, Soul's Grace, Predator's Rapport, all work with Serra Avatar to double your life total for various actions, including entering the battlefield, doing damage, or just existing. Use Roon of the Hidden Realm, Cloudshift, Skybind, and Venser, the Sojourner to flicker Serra Avatar over and over again. Couple that with Rhox Faithmender and your life will quickly reach the quadruple digits. Phyrexian Metamorph, Clone, Progenitor Mimic, Minion Reflector, Cryptoplasm, and Infinite Reflection can be used to clone Serra Avatar or Rhox Faithmender for even greater lifegain.

Also, Serra Ascendant is one of the most broken cards in EDH.

Update: Getting back into MTG after a few years off, and I'm sad to see that Prophet of Kruphix is now banned in Commander :(
