"His spirit burned as he faced his final obstacle, yet there was something strange about it..."

The Plan

First Step: PLAY A LAND. IF YOU DON"T YOU MAY AS WELL NOT PLAY MAGIC! (If you cannot play a land, then mulligan............) Ok, now really. Don't forget to play lands. OTHERWISE, Soulfire Grand Master's 3rd ability will come into handy as you play buffs or bounces such as Titan's Strength or Deflecting Palm. This, in fact, is one of the major (and minor) keys to beating a dragon deck with Utvara Hellkite and Scourge of Valkas on turn 10.

The Creatures

Now this leads to your other extremely helpful 2-Drops which include Kiln Fiend, who will be devastating paired with Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest's 2nd ability, and Seeker of the Way, who provides possible Prowess lethality and definite Lifelink aid. 3-Drops mainly play support in many, many different ways as Geist of Saint Traft basically attacks for 6 damage while Mantis Rider provides quick and easy damage without tapping; and, well, your 1-Drop is Monastery Swiftspear which is pretty self-explanatory.

The NON-Creature Spells (and nonartifact too)

Boros Charm, which is the first instant you may notice provides 3 different choices [DUH]: Dealing 4 damage (and gaining 4 life with Soulfire Grand Master, making your permanents indestructible (I don't have too explain this right?), and giving a target creature double strike (much GG here). On the other hand Titan's Strength, while not giving 3 options, does provide extreme lethality, especially on Kiln Fiend. Lightning Helix, Stubborn Denial, and Deflecting Palm are one of many ways to avoid early, mid, and late death and removal. In addition, Deflecting Palm will play a major role in defending against that 1000/1000 Primordial Hydra (I'm sure you all have faced one...) Now, sorceries are a totally different category, story, meaning, and life. Spite of Mogis is the basic spell to kill off unwanted creatures. Distortion Strike let's damage reach the defending player (or in this case not defending). Wrath of God is, well, best paired with Boros Charm, and Gitaxian Probe forces the player to show his hand! (the right one of course)

TL ; DR

k

My first and finally (after 8 weeks) finished deck could use improvements.
