This section contains all multicolored cards & lands featured in the cube. Gates, Refuges, and regular ETB-tapped dual lands are available for selection alongside basic lands once drafting is complete to ensure that multicolored decks don't rely on the draft for efficiency. Any cards specifically mentioning "Partners with..." or "Melds with..." abilities only have ONE of the pair in the cube. When drafted, the other card is automatically added to that player's drafted pool of cards.

I'll be doing my best to maintain a change & additions logs starting with each expansion release starting with Theros: Beyond Death. Until then, replacements/removals/additions will be undocumented.

Updates Add

I'm going to be removing the two-color bouncelands and shard/wedge lands from the draft pool - during actual drafting and test drafting, these cards often appeared in too great numbers, resulting in drafts that feel bad - I had three of these lands at one point and did not use any of them (two of which were dupes). They're now selectable alongside taplands, guildgates, and refuge lands.

I'm also going to work on strengthening existing archetypes - I've added Ironroot Warlord to help token and high toughness builds, and Jungle Barrier to help with defender builds. Defender is an archetype with not enough support considering how much of the cube's extras support it, so I want to make sure it's getting what it needs to succeed.

These changes will be reflected in the cube list once I have a moment to remove them from the cube itself!

REMOVALS

  • All two-color bounce lands and shard/wedge lands are removed the drafting pool. They are selectable during deckbuilding.

  • Reaper King has been removed. I'm considering removing Atogatog as well. Both encourage linear deckbuilding without a distinct identity, and adding support for either would flood the cube with artifact creatures and Atogs, which are.... not good.
