While I'm more for the furry variety, no lack of fur's gonna stop me from appreciating Lizards from the Bloomburrow set! Especially when they've got ways to burn the competition in this deck! :3c
Right away, Hired Claw serves as a great incentive to (strategically) attack with so much as one Lizard as it'll deal one damage to the opponent! Plus Iridescent Vinelasher makes for a good passive burn thanks to its Landfall ability, even more so if its Offspring ability was capitalized on beforepaw!
For a Lizard deck as potent as this, Gev, Scaled Scorch is gonna be your greatest ally 'cause any Lizard that comes in while Gev's on the battlefield is gonna trigger its one-damage burn which will automatically trigger that other incoming Lizard's ability if the opponent lost life that turn... which they just did! >:3 I mean, the added +1/+1 counter on top is just a bonus! Even if Gev is disposed of, it wouldn't be without a bit of pain to the opponent's life! :P If you need a little of of lifegain while hurting your opponrnt, Agate-Blade Assassin will be there to back you up as it attacks! The double-edged sword in this deck, Magebane Lizard, won't be the worst thing as there aren't many noncreature spells to work with here on your end!
That being said, if you've got any noncreature spells to spam wisely, combo them carefully with Kindlespark Duo (who's essentially Thermo-Alchemist but as a scalie, lol)! Wanna ramp up the damage by an additional point? Good ol' Valley Flamecaller will take care of that! Optional if you wanna keep Laughing Jasper Flint in there, but I personally do because it's an extra bit of insurance to use against the opponent if you've got any spare mana to use! X3c
For the bigger creatures, Hellspur Posse Boss is a good way to make any of your Lizards that are Outlaws attack right away, and Glidedive Duo guarantees some decent damage and lifegain when it enters the battlefield!
While I don't often work with Lizards, I feel that with enough flexibility and synergy, these guys will be built to scale! :P
