MAIN

Courser of Kruphix is a good blocker against red aggro decks, gets me lands off the top (meaning card advantage) and a few points of life. Also, if I have Eidolon of Blossoms, I get even more card advantage out of it.

Crater's Claws is removal and, if I'm locked down, a fireball to the face for double digit damage. Can be a shock in a pinch.

Dragonlord Atarka is the single most powerful card in the deck. 8/8 flying trample for 7 is great. 5 damage divided as I choose to clear tokens (especially Hornet Queen), other dragons that could block it, or just 5 burn to the face. When combined with Surrak, the Hunt Caller, that's a ton of damage with flying, trample, and haste. This usually kills my opponent in one go.

Elvish Mystic is a 1-drop that gives me mana and lets me get turn two Courser of Kruphix. What more do you want?

Genesis Hydra is enormous late game if I have huge devotion and a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. It also helps midgame because when X=4, I can activate ferocious for a Crater's Claws or See the Unwritten and get a good selection of 4-drops. Its perfect X is 7. This lets me get a Hornet Queen if I need defense or Dragonlord Atarka for offense. Only 3 because early game or if they burn my mana accel it is a dead card.

Hornet Queen is an amazing card on defense. 5 flying deathtouch blockers is insanely good against any dragon deck, which are very popular right now, and gets past blockers and spot removal because of 5 different bodies. Also, 3 devotion doesn't hurt.

Polukranos, World Eater is a great 3-drop with any of my mana accelerating creatures and, late game, can act as a pseudo Crater's Claws with his monstrous Dability. Only disadvantage is it is legendary and I have 4.

See the Unwritten is almost always live with 12 ferocious creatures, giving me the two biggest creatures on top. The best combination is Dragonlord Atarka + Surrak, the Hunt Caller for a ton of damage with flying, trample, and haste.

Shaman of Forgotten Ways is double the mana accel but for a higher cost. His other ability seems very gimmicky but can kill control decks instantly if I have the mana.

Shamanic Revelation gives a ton of cards and life against any deck without boardwipes. Or even if they do have boardwipes, Whisperwood Elemental makes it still a live card.

Surrak, the Hunt Caller is slightly worse than Polukranos, World Eater by himself, but giving Dragonlord Atarka haste gets a ton of damage past blockers.

Sylvan Caryatid is a good blocker against aggressive decks and mana accel. Also, hexproof helps against a red deck that has Draconic Roar and uses it on mana accel creatures, which stalls me for several turns while I have to use just lands for mana like the plebians.

Voyaging Satyr is mana accel early game, but unlike the other mana accel creatures, is just as good late game. Untapping Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and using its ability again almost doubles my total mana output and makes Genesis Hydra just that much better.

Xenagos, the Reveler gives mana (usually 2-4 mana) and haste tokens. Sometimes, I can just cast him for free by playing him when I have 4+ creatures and using the +1 to add the same amount of mana that I used to cast him. I rarely use the ultimate because I usually kill them already if I have need for 4 +1's for mana. That means 4 X spells or other giant monsters like Dragonlord Atarka.

SIDEBOARD ONLY (did not include cards shared in both)

Dragonlord Dromoka kills control, and 5 power lifelink and flying isn't bad in a race either.

Nylea's Disciple gives life against aggressive decks, usually 5-10. This buys a couple more turns to get a Dragonlord Atarka and kill their little aggressive guys.

Reclamation Sage against Jeskai Ascendancy or Temur Ascendancy combo, though I haven't seen many of those recently. Also good against constellation cards, particularly Whip of Erebos.

Whisperwood Elemental saves me from boardwipes and makes a couple of manifest tokens. Mostly, though, saves me from boardwipes, which are the only thing control has that gets past Dragonlord Dromoka.

MAYBE

Shamanic Revelation is very powerful with Hornet Queen or even without, as it draws a lot of cards and gains some life.

Nissa, Worldwaker is a card I used to have in my sideboard because it was at least a 3-of in RG decks in the pro tour, but I never really liked the card. Can someone make an argument for it or say what deck it is brought in against?

Boon Satyr is a great combat trick, but just not powerful enough, I think, to make the cut.

Den Protector is graveyard recursion and built in card advantage. Also can't be blocked by Ojutai's Orator and the like.

Reverent Hunter is great if I have the devotion, but too conditional. Other than Nylea's Disciple, which is in the sideboard, none of my cards actually need devotion to not suck. This does.

Foe-Razer Regent is a 6/7 flying for 7, which is fine, but it also kills an opponent's creature, which is great. In a low removal deck, a huge creature that acts as removal is fantastic. This I actually plan on putting in, I just haven't gotten around to removing a card for it. Any suggestions?

I appreciate any suggestions for cards, particularly sideboard.
