Sideboard

Since a lot of our good draw cards got eaten by losing Innistrad and M13, this deck seeks to do the next best thing: scry.

Triton Tactics will keep you alive quite often. Because of it, it's typically best to leave your mana untapped unless you need to get a creature out there.

Guttersnipe is a real blast from the past for anybody who tried to make Izzet decks work in RTR standard. He's replacing Chandra's Phoenix due to a massive lack of damage in this deck, but may end up getting replaced again if things go sour.

Magma Jet and Lightning Strike need no introduction

Shock is at 2 because of slightly higher toughnesses I've noticed during playing. Average toughness of creatures seems to be just a bit over two right now.

Voyage's End and Disperse both play crucial roles in removal. Short of using curse of swine , there isn't a large number of options available to me for removal

Syncopate is the only really good turn two counter right now, (F U, Stymied Hopes ) and is also the only counter able to exile since Disperse cycled out.

Spellheart Chimera is my finisher. With him on the board, I can slap around an opponent in the air until the game ends.

Dissolve tells Cancel to suck its... strictly better effect. Same cost, but I get to tell what I'm doing next turn too.

Izzet Charm causes slight redundancy with Shock, but is also the only real "draw" engine in this deck. Without Izzet charm, I'm simply stuck scrying into what I hope are good cards without any good filtration on excess mana.

Let me know what you think, and please feel free to comment.
