Sefris, Master of Dungeons Budget and Powerful

Commander / EDH* WUB (Esper)

Mulliman

The best Sefris you’ll ever meet. And, at this wonderful budget :)

Seriously though, this deck is no joke. It wins very consistently, as it has the wonderful color combination which provides protection, interaction, and dungeon delving!

Breakdown

You’ll likely be one of the smallest threats on the table early game, as this deck takes time to warm up. However, in case people try to take advantage of this and swing at you early game, there are a lot of small creatures in the deck meant to have nice etb effects and then block for you! And if the creatures don’t do the trick for you, there are always exile effects and counterspells!

By turn 5-6 you should be finishing your dungeons and bringing out a VERY big creature. You will now be a threat for the rest of the game! But little do the other players know, once you’ve reached this spot, it’s almost impossible to stop you!

Removal is only a temporary save for your opponents, as you can reanimate your creatures!

Each creature has its own specialty, so depending on your situation in the game, you can use different creatures to keep yourself alive, destroy opponents’ stuff, and drain them!

As a final note, try to take the initiative as soon as possible! That last room is a beast and WILL win you games. Don’t underestimate those dungeons!

Upgrades

If you want to upgrade the deck, I recommend switching out the reanimator targets. Add in cards like Elesh Norn, Massacre worm, and Archon of Cruelty. You can also always add in other ways of reanimating, such as Animate Dead and Reanimate.
